The track Molecular Bioengineering concerns the science and engineering behind the next generation of materials. Research topics include advancing the performance of medical implants, engineered tissues, nanoscale drug delivery systems, contrast agents for biomedical imaging, biologically inspired nanomaterials and devices, and the interfacing of cells with engineered nanosystems.
